Low budget viral marketing
Published April 9th, 2007 in MarketingI was talking about viral marketing at the e-business seminar few days ago. Someone said that viral marketing is great but available for big corporations only. Few people agreed. I didn’t. Here is a great example that you don’t need 10 developers and/or milions of $ to get great viral-marketing-based coverage on the internet. All you need is… refrigerator :-) Follow the link http://NoOneBelongsHereMoreThanYou.com/

Blogging again ?? :-)
Viral marketing doesn’t have to reach millions to be a success … even look at some of the positive WOM hosting365.pl has gotten from job adverts.
Haha.. During my last speech about blogging I promised the attendees that I’ll come back to blogging (or rather start blogging!)
on virals - I wouldn’t mix virals with WOM (words of mouth). Example above is a pure viral marketing - great idea which was spread across the internet by impressed users.
Hosting365.pl got a great coverage and WOM because of job adverts, which were simply GREAT for the potential employees. Agree - those Ads were free so theoretically budget = $0, but you know.. It’s cheap to promise, but it’s expensive to deliver :-) You simply have to be a good company to get WOM like that.
It’s great that You started blogging again - I’m looking forward to see more interesting posts.
Secondly I have to agree with You that viral marketing is cheap - but you need a good idea to think of something - and to be honest - I don’t have that kind of ideas. Maybe I need some moment of enlightment or maybe just the opposite…
So - in my case this is usefull but I still need some $ to hire someone to make something interesting enough…
